Ametrine is the bi-colour Quartz variety that, as its name suggests, is a unique combination of the violet sunset colour of Amethyst and the golden sunburst colour of Citrine. Ametrine forms when Amethyst and Citrine fuse with one another during natural crystal growth. Ametrine is exclusively only mined in Bolivia.
